The ground I stand on

Everyone brings their own story. Mine includes about ten years inside India's digital public systems, as an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) since 2016 — in the field, in policy and in product. It is part of who I am, not all of it.

In the field: Field formations. Close to field realities, where policy, compliance and administration meet the everyday experience of citizens and businesses.
In policy: GST Council Secretariat. GST policy and cooperative federalism: centre–state collaboration and support for implementation.
In product: GSTN. Product and implementation, including e-invoice and related initiatives. Certificates of Appreciation as Product Owner for the e-invoice rollout and for Aadhaar face authentication.
What I hold to: Seva and public purpose. Start with the problem. Technology for people: keep people first, widen access, protect rights.

Recognised by the Union Finance Minister of India for contribution to GST.
